• Crime
  • Jasmine has a solid criminal law background. She entered the legal profession after graduating and completed her training contract with Her Majesty's Court Service at Derby Magistrates Court. Upon qualification as a solicitor, Jasmine worked for a large East Midlands Legal 500 practice. At this firm she acquired Higher Rights of Audience in all proceedings and commenced Crown Court practice. She has also had experience of working for a second legal 500 firm in a corporate crime department dealing with regulatory matters.
  •  Jasmine has defended several jury trials in relation to firearms, dishonesty , aggravated burglary, bladed articles, violence, drugs and public order offences.
  • She has defended all manner of prosecutions by the CPS, DWP, Trading Standards, Borough & local councils and HMRC.
  • Conducted Preparation and appeared at the Crown court on high value Confiscation hearings.
  •  Preparation of Very High Costs Cases
  • She has appeared in the Court of Appeal (criminal division) appealing successfully against sentence.
  • Attended a second post mortem in relation to a murder case.
  • Attended PACE interviews at police stations
  • Appeared at an inquest hearing
  • She has an excellent understanding of all manner of road traffic offences
  • Jasmine has particular experience of dealing with vulnerable clients and youth clients; she has also dealt with a vexatious litigant in civil proceedings
  • Jasmine has recently started prosecution work since being called to the Bar

  • Jasmine has diversified her practice to civil hearings such as Infant Approval hearings and civil trials. She also has experience of possession hearings.
