Called to the Bar: 2007
Joseph formerly practised as a solicitor in Leicester. His practice included Employment Law and Civil and Commercial Law. This included acting for many local companies and individuals in a variety of claims. He then spent time as an Employment Law Consultant for an organisation that provided consultancy services to members of the British Chambers of Commerce and the Forum of Private Business as well as other business affinity groups. This included advice on workforce restructuring, redundancy exercises, TUPE transfers, and many other areas of legal compliance. He also provided training on employment law to organisations such as the RAC.
His experience as a solicitor and consultant means that Joseph can build good relationships with both lay and professional clients, and is able to deploy these skills in relation to his wider practice. He is currently undertaking a general common law pupillage.
