Karl Prosser PgDip (Law), BSc (Hons), IEng, AMRAeS, ACIArb Barrister

Called to the Bar: 2002

Served a 3-year mechanical engineering apprenticeship with the Royal Air Force, prior to being called to the bar, and subsequently practiced as an aerospace engineer for over 14 years. During that time he predominately specialised in aircraft propulsion systems; however, his overall experience included a wide range of highly technical environments, including a 4-year period spent on a major information technology (logistics) project and a short period working for a major engine manufacturer.

 He is now particularly interested in disputes of a technical nature which utilise the knowledge he has gained in his former career, and he is regularly instructed in automotive, industrial and engineering related cases at all levels of the County Court system. Additionally Karl also accepts Direct Access Instructions in suitable cases.

Awards

  • Leicester Association of Engineers Award (June 2000) - Awarded for the best academic performance within the computing and engineering faculty (First Class Honours).
