  • Private Law: Since joining Chambers, Sajda has been building on her experience in this area. She has acted for both applicant and respondent in family proceedings. She has experience of dealing with interim hearings including contact, prohibited steps and specific issue orders. Sajda has a particular interest in children law matters. Being a parent herself, she understands the practicalities and emotions involved in bringing up children and can empathise with her clients.
  • Public Law: Sajda has acted for parents and the LA in child care proceedings.
  • Injunctive Relief: Sajda has experience in non-molestation, committals and ex parte applications.


  •  Sajda has experience in all manner of civil litigation. She has conducted hearings before the county court acting for both Claimant and Defendants. She has experience in the following
  •  Infant approval hearings
  • Case management conferences
  • Directions hearings
  • Application hearings
  • Stage 3 proceedings


Sajda has experience of both prosecuting and defending from first hearing through to trial. She has acted for the CPS, Home Office and the Director of Border and revenue. She also has experience of representing Defendants in road traffic matters.


Sajda has experience of immigration matters having dealt with hearings in the first tier tribunal including

  • Entry Clearance
  • Bail Hearings
  • Asylum appeals 


Sajda is a member of the Family Law Bar Association.
