Tenancy Applications

Applications for Tenancy will be considered at all times and in the strictest confidence. Applications should be made in writing to Mr John Snell, Head of Chambers.

To apply for Tenancy please send a full CV with a covering letter to the Management committee and we would be grateful if you could also complete the following document and attach it with your application:

Collecting Monitoring Data Form

Please make sure when you send your application that the postage has been fully paid and that enough stamps have been put on the envelope. If this is not done then your application will remain undelivered and we cannot accept responsibility for that.

Pupillage Applications

We are currently considering offering two pupillage places in 2013 although this is subject to confirmation, please regularly look at this website and the Pupillage Portal website for further details. Third six pupillage applications are considered throughout the year. Applicants must submit a handwritten covering letter and a completed application form by the specified deadline.

Please make sure when you send your application that the postage has been fully paid and that enough stamps have been put on the envelope. The application normally requires at least 5 first class stamps If this is not done then your application will remain undelivered and we cannot accept responsibility for that.

Mini-Pupillage Applications

We are not offering any positions at the moment as we have been inundated with applications.

Mini-pupillage positions have had to be limited to final year degree students or those on the Bar Vocational Course due to the high demand for places. A maximum of one week will be allotted for each successful applicant. Applications can be made to the Practice Manager by post enclosing a covering letter, a completed application form (see below) and a stamped addressed envelope.

Work Experience Applications

Work experience positions are limited due to heavy demand. However, applications can be made by post to the Practice Manager enclosing a covering letter, a completed application form (see below) and a stamped addressed envelope.

Please make sure when you send your application that the postage has been fully paid and that enough stamps have been put on the envelope. If this is not done then your application will remain undelivered and we cannot accept responsibility for that.

Please do not send original documents to Chambers. If originals are required by Chambers then please bring them with you when you attend.

Chambers cannot accept responsibility for any originals that are lost whilst being conveyed to, or by, Chambers or whilst in our care.

All successful applicants for mini-pupillage and work experience will be required to strictly observe clients confidentiality. To maintain a consistent and fair approach to all applications, applicants are invited to complete the undertaking which is within the main body of the application form.
