- Nathalie received two scholarships from the Inner Temple, which include the Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Scholarship and a Major BVC Exhibition.
Background
After completing the Bar Course Nathalie worked as an Advocate for Lyons Davidson Solicitors for just under three years, where she specialised in personal injury and general civil law. She conducted small claims hearings, infant approval hearings, CMC's, directions and application hearings. She also drafted particulars and wrote advices on quantum and liability.
Nathalie successfully completed pupillage at New Walk Chambers and became a tenant in November 2007.
Areas of Practice

Nathalie has a general common law practice. She is particularly interested in personal injury and property law and undertakes both Claimant and Defendant work. Nathalie has particular experience of:
- Advising on quantum for infants and adults, liability and prospects of success;
- Application hearings
- Assessment of damages hearings;
- Case Management Conferences;
- Coroner's inquests;
- Direction hearings;
- Disposal hearings;
- Drafting Particulars of Claim;
- Fast Track Trials;
- Infant approval and patient approval hearings;
- Small claims hearings in all areas of civil law, particularly road traffic accidents, contractual disputes and holiday claims;
- Equine - Nathalie is a keen horse enthusiast having competed on horses from a young age. She fully appreciates the problems, joys and expense involved in owning, breeding and riding horses and the inevitable legal issues which often arise. She applies a professional and pragmatic approach to each equine matter.
Nathalie is enthusiastic to accept instructions for written advice, conferences and hearings, involving all areas of equine law including the following:
- Bridleways/rights of way;
- Buying, loaning and selling horses - warranties, unsoundness and vices;
- Negligence - resulting in damage to property or personal injury;
- Nuisance;
- Protection from cruelty.
- Immigration - Nathalie undertakes hearings and appeals in Immigration Tribunals regarding asylum, deportation and entry clearance.
- Crime - Nathalie undertakes work in all areas of criminal law, both prosecuting and defending in the Youth, Magistrates' and Crown Courts.
- Family - Nathalie undertakes work in all areas of family and children law, including ancillary relief and injunctive relief in both private and public law.
- Employment - Nathalie undertakes work in all areas of employment law.
