Areas of practice

Civil: all civil matters including personal injury, landlord and tenant, contract and bankruptcy matters. Victoria undertakes both Claimant and Defendant work and has particular experience of:-

  • Advising on quantum for infants and adults, liability and prospects of success;
  • Application hearings;
  • Case Management Conferences;
  • Direction hearings; 
  • Drafting Particulars of Claim; 
  • Fast Track Trials; 
  • Infant approval and patient approval hearings; 
  • Possession hearings; 
  • Small claims hearings; 
  • Winding up petitions; 
  • Consumer Credit Act matters.

Family: all aspects of family law including; 

  • Ancillary relief - negotiations and hearings; 
  • Private and public childcare proceedings and injunctive relief. 
  • Advice on ancillary relief and childcare matters.

Victoria has an interest in matters involving a foreign element.

Criminal:-

  • Magistrates'/Youth Court: prosecution and defence work in trials, particularly Road Traffic Act offences and exceptional hardship and special reasons arguments.
  • Crown Court: plea and case management hearings, bail applications and sentencing. Advice on sentencing and procedure.

Immigration: all manner of Immigration matters including;

  • Entry Clearance;
  • Asylum Appeals;
  • Deportation hearings
  • Bail hearings.

Employment: representation at Employment Tribunal and advice on all employment matters.

Tribunals: representation at Mental Health Tribunals.
