Personal Injury Law
Members of Chambers advise and provide representation in all areas of personal injury work on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. Chambers has experience in a wide variety of cases ranging from the County Court fast track to multi-million pound claims in the High Court.
Chambers often accepts instructions on a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) basis and there is no fee for the initial consideration of the papers. Further information with regard to Chambers' own CFA contract can be obtained from the clerks.
The personal injury team also undertakes clinical negligence and Coroners Inquest work.
Cosmetic beauty surgery or treatments and alternative therapy claims
We have Counsel who can assist you claims relating to cosmetic surgery or beauty treatments which may have caused you stress and pain and in some cases may have resulted in scarring. The work may have been carried out in beauty salons, beauty clinics, orthodontic practices, hairdressers, private clinics, dentists or hospitals or through the NHS. Alternatively, the cosmetic beauty treatments may not have resulted in the desired outcome which you had expected. In more serious cases this may have resulted from medical negligence.
Claims may include allergic reactions, Botox treatments, implants, cosmetic / plastic surgery, cosmetic burn claims, nerve damage or damaged hair claims.
We can help you to assess whether a claim for clinical or medical negligence is appropriate. Often clients ask, ‘How much can I claim?’ That will be dependent on each individual case, though we will be able to give you advise in this regard.
Our barristers can work through solicitors or via direct public access where you instruct us personally.
If you wish to find a barrister who can deal with your personal injury claim via public access / direct access, then please email the clerks.
